Fast and Furious? The Ever-Evolving
International Dispute Resolution Landscape
On behalf of Prof. Dr. Gerhard Wagner and the IDR LL.M. Alumni, the third annual Humboldt Dispute Resolution Conference convened scholars, practitioners, and alumni at the Juristische Fakultät for a full day of rigorous discussion on the shifting contours of international dispute resolution.
The 2024 programme explored the ever-evolving IDR landscape — from ESG disputes and cross-border succession claims to the future of commercial courts and arbitrator ethics. A keynote address by Prof. Dr. Gerhard Wagner opened proceedings, followed by two substantive panels and a career-focused insider session with senior practitioners from leading international firms.
The day concluded with a Q&A and networking session, bringing together alumni from across the IDR LL.M. cohorts for an afternoon of exchange at the heart of Berlin.
